Angie Dolan did her undergraduate studies in Dance and English at the University of South Florida, followed by a study abroad at the University of Cambridge in England where she focused on Shakespeare. She finished her formal education with graduate work in Dance Education at the University of North Carolina-Charlotte. She currently teaches Middle School Dance and Theatre at Lincoln Charter School. Angie has served on the board since 2023. 

Bridgette Conboy enjoys the ability to be involved in many different things happening at the theatre through her service on the board. Bridgette currently teaches 8th grade Social Studies at Lincoln Charter, Lincolnton Campus. She graduated from Belmont Abbey College in 2015 with her Bachelors in Elementary Education and minor in Theatre Direction. She was very active in the theatre during her time at the Abbey. Most of Bridgette’s on-stage experience has been in Shakespeare, and she is excited to bring her knowledge of the bard’s works to the people of Cherryville.

Wade is a long-serving CLT veteran, first appearing on stage in 1980. Through the years, his theatre journey has been a winding road: acting on stage; back stage work; stage management; set design and construction; directing; and technical work. He is comfortable working behind the scenes now in more of an administrative and support role. Wade considers himself the leading advocate in the Cherryville community for the Cherryville Little Theatre. Although Terry Fisher was taken from this earth way too early, Wade is extremely proud and honored to have filled two roles left by the late CLT icon: ‘CLT Treasurer’ and ‘CLT’s Resident Curmudgeon’. A former Mayor of Cherryville, Wade is very interested and active in all things that benefit and promote Cherryville. He also serves on the Gaston County Economic Development Commission Board, as well as Clerk of Session for First Presbyterian Church, Cherryville.

While Matt is just as comfortable being in front of the spotlight, he’s made his more frequent home behind it while navigating the sound board or bringing the music to life from the orchestra pit. 

Having spent the last 30 years involved in music and theater, he’s excited to put his experience to the test  and is thrilled to have a place at CLT as resident Tech. Director. Matt looks forward to the opportunity of helping teach and educate even more people in the art of light and sound design.

Are you a graphic designer, lawyer, accountant, public relations manager, or other professional who has a love of theatre? The CLT Board of Directors is looking for possible nominees for our open seats. Ideal individuals are those who are passionate about supporting the performing arts, and would like to use their specialized skill sets to do just that at CLT. The Board of Directors do NOT have to be "theatre people" in the sense that they are performers or directors themselves... you only have to be a theatre fan!
